The Moran Family - Edmonton Family Photography

Stephannie and Brendan's little Aria just turned one, and she is an absolute sweetheart. She was such a trooper on the chilly afternoon during her family portraits. She didn't up a fuss. In fact.. she provided wonderful entertainment for us with her enthusiastic singing of 'row row row your boat!'  She's got the loveliest little voice, and her parents were huge fans, creating new and improvised versus, so the song could go on and on. :D 

We first met Stephannie and Brendan a few years ago at one of their friends weddings we were photographing.  They had booked a couple's portrait session over that same weekend and we had a chance to see how much these two really loved and enjoyed each other's company. They have since had a baby and been living abroad in the U.K. for the past year. On a recent trip home for a wedding, they booked a family session with us and brought along Steph's parents along too.  It was great to catch up with them. They're still the same sweet 'completely in love' couple, but now they've got a little family of their own!

Edmonton Family Photography - Mayr Family

We took a drive out to Lindsey and Lochlan's acreage to take some family pictures.  And we are so glad it worked out to be such a beautiful night on the evening of their session.  They have the most gorgeous view of the river I have ever seen!

Little Lochlan was adorable! He was so serious all evening, We had to pull out all the stops, just to get a little smirk. haha.

Edmonton Couples Session - Dorothy and Dan

Dorothy contacted us because she realized she really wanted some pictures of her and her husband together before they start their family, and they didn't end up doing an engagement session before their wedding three years ago.  We loved this idea.  Sometimes a portrait session can be more than just a way to document more than where you're at in your life, but also the connection you share at that point in time.  Dan had an idea for the location, as he knew the Terwillegar bike trails quite well, so we followed his lead!
