This gorgeous couple will be getting married in September.  Yay! Another Heroux family wedding, which means we get to hang out with some amazing people and everyone will have an awesome time. 

We were threatened with a crazy thunderstorm on the day of their session, but decided to wait it out and see how long it lasted before postponing the session... It turned out to be a beautiful night. The rain and wind stopped just in time and the evening sunlight was perfect for a late spring session! thanks for being so easy going and patient. :D

Calgary Zoo Wedding - Janet and Jon

We have done a couple of sessions with Janet's family over the past few years, so it was exciting when she announced that she got engaged. 

As Steph was 2 weeks overdue with our new son, Shaun, Gord, and Taylor travelled down to Calgary to photograph their wedding at the Calgary Zoo.  The ceremony took place in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a very sun-filled Saturday.  Previous to the ceremony we did some group photos, grabbed some burgers at the Mighty Skillet Food Truck, and had a traditional tea ceremony at their house.  After a few more images of Janet and Jon, there was a lovely reception at that Safari Lodge that featured a beautifully choreographed dance routine.

This bombshell decided to book a boudoir session and give her fiancé an album as a gift to him on their wedding day!  

We had a blast during the session and by the end, it became more than just a gift to her fiancé.   She felt gorgeous and had fun realizing it! That is probably the best part about photographing these sessions.  The process and realization of how beautiful we all are.
